Ashtanga / Power Yoga
Ashtanga Yoga, also called Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, is a vigorous and flowing style of yoga developed in the 20th century. It involves synchronising breath with progressive and continuous postures, which produces internal heat while detoxifying the body. It builds strength, flexibility, and stamina, while calming the mind and improving overall health.
Pre-Natal Yoga
Specifically to the unique needs of pregnancy, the class begins with grounding breaths, allowing you to center your mind and connect with your baby. Supported by props and cushions, you’ll flow through a series of movements that enhance flexibility, improve circulation, and strengthen the muscles needed for labor and delivery. Prenatal Yoga class welcomes all expectant mothers to come together, share stories, and celebrate the incredible journey of motherhood.
Breathwork & Guided Meditation
Slows down our brainwaves, calming and balancing our thoughts and mood. The classes will focus on controlled and meditation breathing techniques that induce the relaxation response and transform stress, anxiety, pain and depression to positive states of being. Take conscious full breaths, breathing in more oxygen and energy into the body. This will allow the release of toxins and emotions.
